N2XSEY cable is a three-core medium-voltage power cable with stranded copper conductors, screened XLPE insulation and a common PVC outer sheath. Three phase cores form one assembled cable for fixed distribution.
The reference CU/XLPE/CTS/PVC construction uses metallic screening but no armour. The shared sheath distinguishes it from a circuit of three separate single-core cables and changes handling mass, cable-entry dimensions and installation geometry.

Three-core construction and accessory interfaces
N2XSEY assembles the three phase cores within a common sheath. Separate single-core cables permit flat or trefoil formation; each arrangement has its own current-rating, handling and support requirements.
Termination stress-control components fit the insulation diameter and screen treatment. Glands and entry seals fit the complete cable diameter. The 3×240/25 reference is approximately 85 mm in diameter and 13 kg/m, before drum tare; handling calculations therefore use assembly mass, not copper mass alone.
Primjena i uvjeti instalacije
Industrijska distribucija, substation connections and suitable underground or ducted feeders can use this combined three-core assembly. Prečnik kabla, mass and bending limits inform route access and pulling equipment. Routes requiring armour, water blocking or enhanced fire performance use the corresponding construction.

Does N2XSEY mean the cable is armoured?
The reference N2XSEY construction is screened and unarmoured. Its metallic screen performs an electrical duty; mechanically protected variants add a separate armour layer.
Can 12/20 kV dimensions be used for a 6/10 kV variant?
The table covers the stated 12/20 kV construction. A 6/10 kV version uses its own insulation dimensions and construction-specific rating data.
Is N2XSEY the same as three N2XSY cables?
N2XSEY combines three phase cores inside a common sheath. Three N2XSY cables are separately sheathed single-core products, with different handling and installation arrangements.
