HV Submarine Power/Optical Composite Cable (Cu/XLPE/LS/WA/HDPE + OF)

APPLICATION

HV Submarine Power/Optical Composite Cables are designed for high-voltage power transmission and simultaneous optical communication in offshore and subsea environments. They are widely used in:
  • Offshore wind farm grid connection and internal communication
  • Inter-island power and data transmission
  • Coastal industrial facilities and offshore platform power supply
  • Subsea renewable energy projects (solar, tidal)
  • Long-distance subsea power and communication integration
These cables can be directly buried in seabed trenches, installed in submarine cable routes, or deployed in dynamic offshore applications, with excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, hydrostatic pressure, والإجهاد الميكانيكي.

CONSTRUCTION

  • Conductor: Water-blocking Copper (Cu, Class 2/5 stranded)
  • Conductor Screen: Semi-conductive extruded layer
  • Insulation: Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
  • Insulation Screen: Semi-conductive extruded layer
  • Water-blocking Layer: Semi-conductive water-blocking tape (SWR-T)
  • Optical Fiber Unit: Single-mode optical fibers (SMF, G.652D/G.655) integrated within the cable core
  • Filler: Water-blocking filler compound
  • Inner Lining: Extruded polymer layer
  • Lead Sheath (LS): Continuous lead alloy sheath for primary water and gas barrier
  • Semi-conductive PE Sheath: Extruded semi-conductive polyethylene layer
  • Armour: Single/Double Wire Armour (SWA/DA, steel or aluminum alloy)
  • Outer Sheath: High-density Polyethylene (HDPE) for marine environment protection
  • Core Identification: Color-coded power cores and fiber units per IEC standards

CHARACTERISTICS
